1. —BATTLEBEAST FOOD AND STATS INFO—

STATS:

Vigour: Health statistic, from 0-100%, indicates if the dragon is eating enough Eucommia (Vigour food).

Euphoria: Happiness statistic, from 0-100%, indicates if the dragon is eating enough Ligustrum Berries (Euphoria food).

FOOD:

Eucommia: Eucommia is necessary to keep the dragon’s Vigour high. This is the only *required* food.

Ligustrum Berries: Ligustrum Berries are necessary to keep the dragon’s Euphoria high.

Both the Eucommia and Ligustrum Berries will disappear when empty and a red hover text warning will appear when levels are getting low.

HEALTH BOOSTERS:

Dandelion Green Booster: A Dandelion Green Booster will give a 1-time 10% increase to a dragon’s Vigour (health). Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “Vigour”.

Huan Hua Booster: A Huan Hua Booster will give a 1-time 10% increase to Euphoria (happiness). Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “Euphoria”.

Maca Booster: A Macha Booster will give a 1-time 10% increase in Desire, Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “Desire”.

BeePollen: 1-time increase 5% increase in Vigour, Euphoria, Desire. Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours.
To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “All Stats”.

Hawthorn for Healing: Used to heal a dragon when starved (0% Vigour). Rejuvenates the dragon to 100% Vigour, 100% Euphoria, and 0% Desire. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “Healing”.

BATTLE BOOSTERS:

Dang Gui Booster: A Dang Gui Booster will give a 1-time 5% increase in Battle Strength that will last for 24 hours. Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “B Strength”.

Yang Jing Booster – A Yang Jing Booster will give a 1-time 5% increase in Battle Stamina that will last for 24 hours. Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “B Stamina”.

Ginseng – A Ginseng Booster will give a 1-time 5% increase in Speed that will last for 24 hours. Limited to one dose per animal every 24 hours. To feed this to your dragon, use the beast touch-menu selection “Boosters”, and then “B Speed”.

2.  —HUD BUTTONS—

Crest: The BattleBeast Breedables “crest” on the HUD will slide the HUD off the screen to the left when left-clicked. Clicking the crest again to bring HUD back to the main visible area of your screen.

Manage TAB buttons:
Connect: Connects a dragon to the HUD. Press the Connect button then touch the Dragon you wish to Connect.
Locate: Locates all dragons in the region, and once you are connected, will give you the coordinates of your dragon.
Home: Returns your connected dragon to it’s home position.
Here: Calls the connected dragon to where you are located.
Fly: Toggles Fly/Land ON/OFF for the dragon that is connected to the HUD.
Patrol: Sends a connected dragon to wander, flying around the area.
Hunt: Not currently active.
Follow: Connected Dragon will now follow you.
Reset: Resets the HUD

Battle TAB buttons:
Scan: Scans for Dragons in the area. A list of detected Dragons will appear. Choose a Dragon from the list to begin a Battle.
Challenge: Challenges the selected Dragon to a Battle. You will receive a message stating whether or not your Challenge was accepted.
Defend: Once a Battle begins, choose Defend to see a list of Defend moves. Choose a move and touch GO.
Attack: Once a Battle begins, choose Attack to see a list of Attack moves. Choose a move and touch GO.

Battle status indicators:
You Ready/Not Ready:  Indicates whether you are ready or not for the next move.
Opp Ready/Not Ready:  Indicates whether your opponent is ready or not for the next move.

After each round, the Round data will appear at the bottom of the Battle TAB screen. Watch your Hit Points and Stamina as the Battle Progresses. The Battle continues until one Dragon reaches 0 hit points. Press GO to continue.

3. —MATING

In order to mate (breed) your dragons, the animals BOTH need ALL of these:

– Age at least 7, and no more than 180
– Desire of 100%
– Vigour 65% or above (to keep a dragon’s Vigour high, it must eat Eucommia)
– Euphoria 65% or above (to keep a dragon’s Euphoria high, it must eat Ligustrum Berries)
– Not in post-birthing pregnancy recovery period (females only)
– One male and one female 🙂
– The same release/version of dragon
– Must be within 20 meters of each other
– They are coupled to each other, OR
neither one is coupled to any other dragon
– Breeding must be on (touch-menu: Mating / Breed)

Important: If you are trying to get dragon to mate, and they are not being co-operative, turn on Diagnose in the
dragon touch-menu (Settings / Diagnose) for one or both of them, to get more information)

Terms related to mating:

Breeding: On the dragon’s touch-menu, use Mating, then toggle Breed till is shows “On”. (The default is Breed On.)

Recovery Period: Female dragons have a 3-day pregnancy recovery period after giving birth, during which they will not gain Desire.

Coupling: Dragons can be coupled so that they will only mate with their coupled “spouse”. Dragons cannot be coupled until they are at least 7 days old and can only be coupled with ONE mate at a time. Dragons can only be coupled with the opposite gender (male with female).

To couple dragons:
On one of the dragon’s touch-menu, use Mating, then Couple. In chat you will see a list of dragons that are available
for coupling. You can type their name in chat or touch them. Red particles also will come from each dragon on the list,
making it easier for you to find them.

Desire: Mating statistic. Will be from 0-100% When the Desire reaches 100% a dragon will be able to mate.

Ligustrum Berries: Ligustrum Berries are necessary to keep the dragons Euphoria % high.

Maca Booster: Maca is a Booster, giving a 1-time 10% increase in Desire and may only be given once every 24 hours.

4. —MENU BUTTONS—

Stats:  Gives the Dragon stats in local chat, to include genetic stats, battle stats, health stats, as well as settings such as Home, Range, Phantom, Breeding etc.

Motion:  Movement of your Dragon
Move On – Start the dragon walking
Move Off – Stop the dragon walking
Move Wait – Stop the dragon from walking; head and tail and eyes continue to move.

Parents:  Gives you the stats of the Mother and Father of your Dragon in chat.
If your Dragon was birthed from a Store Egg, you will see “This is a starter animal” in chat.

Mating:  Gives the option to turn Breed ON/OFF or to Couple. If Breed is on and you do not Couple your Dragon will choose a mate from Dragons within range who are ready to breed. If you choose Couple you will get a list of Dragons within range who are ready to breed, and you can then choose the one you want.

Boosters:  Gives a list of the Genetic and Battle boosters available to give your Dragon. Rez the booster near the dragon, then choose the button of the one you have rezzed.

Help:  Takes you to the online Dragon Handbook.

Settings:

    Verbose – Adds a little more chat from the dragon.
     Name – Gives you the ability to name your dragon in chat.
     Sound – Toggles dragon sounds ON/OFF
     Range – Sets the Movement Range of your dragon in chat. Range is the distance the dragon will roam from it’s
home location.
     Particles – Toggles dragon particles ON/OFF
     Text – Toggles the hover text to OFF, Name Only, or ON
     Home – Sets your dragon’s home location
     Diagnose – When On, the beast will chat more information to you about itself. (Default: Off).

More:

    Between – An advanced skill which allows a dragon owner to shape-shift the dragon.
    Beyond – A place where dragons go, after this world.
  (The gateway to Beyond is not open at this time.)
    Reset – Resets your dragon.
    Update – Updates your dragon when an updater is rezzed.

5. —FAQ: RANGES—

What are the effective distances, or “ranges” in SL, for various things? mating, food, etc?

Please note: Settings/Range is “Movement Range”, and is listed that why in the Stats

Mating range is up 20m
Food range is up to 30m
Crystal range is up to 20m
